Concrete Stripper

GKCS350

Strip paint, epoxy, stains and sealers from concrete floors with Klean-Strip Concrete Stripper. During use, wear chemical-resistant gloves, chemical splash goggles and appropriate work shoes. Shake bottle well and pour stripper onto floor, spreading with a long-handled paint roller to obtain an even layer up to 1/16” thick. Do not step on the area, as it may be slippery. Do not allow the remover to dry completely, as the paint can re-adhere. For vertical surfaces, apply an even layer up to 1/16” thick with a paint brush. After 30 minutes, use a stiff bristle brush to scrub a small test area to see if the finish is ready for removal. If needed, allow additional time (up to 24 hours) to loosen paint. (Application time may vary depending on the type and age of coating. Allow the stripper to sit longer to penetrate tougher coatings). Scrub floor with long-handled stiff bristle brush to remove the paint. Scrape up paint and stripper residue, then scrub area with Klean-Strip Concrete Degreaser (sold separately) and rinse well with water. Allow to dry and use Klean-Strip Concrete Etch (sold separately) or follow the coating manufacturer’s instructions before applying the coating. Floors should be completely clean and dry before refinishing.
