Klean Strip® Paint Thinner can be used to thin oil-based paint, stain & varnish
Follow the paint product manufacturer’s instructions for the proper amount of paint thinner required.
We recommend starting with 4 ounces per gallon. Add gradually and stir thoroughly until desired consistency is obtained.
Klean Strip® Paint Thinner can be used to clean paint from brushes immediately after use. If the coating has dried onto the brush, use Klean Strip® Brush Cleaner.
Store Klean Strip® Paint Thinner tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight and at temperatures below 120F. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
While Klean Strip® Paint Thinner can be used for cleaning up fresh paint, it is not a paint stripper for cured coatings. If the coating has dried on, use a paint stripper instead. We recommend Klean Strip Premium Stripper.
